Muve Media  Internship Programs offers a hands-on experience to students with media production, photography, digital marketing, social media management, and creative interests. Each of our 10-week programs offer in-house training in media production, operations photography, and digital marketing along with access to industry-leading professionals. Applicants are encouraged to apply to the internship program that aligns best with their career goals. At the end of your program, interns will leave with an extensive knowledge of the operations of a 360 media production company, college credit, valuable industry connections, as well as a recommendation from CEO’s and partners of the company.

 

Creative Social Marketing Internship

This internship is recommended for those with an interest in digital and social marketing, sales funnel, content creation, and campaign management.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with department lead to create and implement social media campaigns with the objective of increasing brand engagement and acquisition

  • Gathering in-house content and scheduling social media posts across various platforms on a management platform

  • Generating digital progress reports

  • Transcribing content videos into blog posts and newsletters

  • Light video & photo editing

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in college, a recent graduate of college (must be currently living in NYC), or a strong interest in building a skillset in social marketing

  • The ability to problem solve, manage several projects at once, strong communication skills

  • A strong interest in production, photography, or creative industry

  • Photography, video editing skills (preferred but not required)

  • Social media management skills (preferred but not required)

  • Experience with platforms such as MailChimp, Later, Buffer, Hootsuite (preferred but not required)

 

All interns must have a laptop and be able to work 5-10 hours per week. Remote work available, weekly meetings conducted in-person.

 

Compensation:

Interns are given a monthly stipend, metrocard, and lunch when working on-site. Interns are also given access to the photography studio when there is down time or in between clients.


 

Photography Production and Operations Intern

The internship is recommended for those with an interest in photography, production, and operations.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting with production during in-studio and outdoor photoshoots. This includes but is not limited to: setting up lighting and backdrop, making sure all equipment is available and ready for shoots, holding or adjusting props

  • Taking behind the scenes content of photoshoots

  • Following up with clients before and after the shoot via email (company email provided)

  • Sourcing and compiling email lists

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in college, a recent graduate of college (must be currently living in NYC), or a strong interest in building a skillset in production assisting, operations of photography, and photography

  • Experience with set lighting and photoshoots (preferred but not required)

  • The ability to problem solve, manage several projects at once, strong communication skills

Operations Administrations Intern

This internship is recommended for those with an interest in technology, startups, and learning more about general business operations - 1-2 years in an office setting, a plus

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the Operations Manager with scheduling calendar management, and other EA-related tasks 

  • Provide studio administration support; reception, mail/courier services, food orders for meetings and related support 

  • Participate in the planning of events

  • Assist in creating content and upkeep of social media platforms 

  • Assist with other various administrative tasks 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Passionate, organized, detail-oriented 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Driven, self-motivated and love to think creatively about solving problems 

  • A “services” attitude 

  • Willing to jump in and do whatever it takes to get the job done

  • Thrives in fast-moving, highly changeable environment
